I am a Level Designer with 4+ Years AAA Industry experience currently working at Expression Games on the FPS military sim Hell Let Loose.

I previously worked on unannounced projects at Firesprite and Fabrik Games. 

I started my career working on the released title Little Hope at Supermassive Games.

I graduated from Abertay University in summer 2019 having received an upper second in Games Design and Production. 

Additionally I received the Dave's Prize from the University in 2019, which is awarded to the student who produced the best proposed external project carried out by them over 12 months.

Through working at multiple AAA studios one having won a BAFTA, studying a course which is accredited by the Princeton Review as Europes best and by participating in numerous Game Jams, I have honed my skills as both a Level Designer and an effective contributor to wider group projects.

My skills repertoire includes:

• The skill to confidently design exciting, challenging and enjoyable levels and encounters using both Unreal Engine 5 and Unity.

• Being efficient at creating clear and easily understandable level layouts and greyboxes using Maya and Photoshop to high standards.

• Creating levels using modular blockout kits and overseeing these levels through various stages of development.

• The proficiency to program using Unreal Engine Blueprints.

• The multiple AAA games I have worked on have demanded high quality work to strict deadlines therefore I have experience meeting these challenging parameters.

• Through working closely with Art and Programming teams I have honed my collaboration skills to ensure that my Levels not only play well but they are aesthetically pleasing and optimised correctly.

• Being able to create well laid out and informative documentation and game stat sheets using the Microsoft Office suite.

• By working with a variety of highly talented designers I have further learnt the importance of feedback on my work and additionally how to review and present feedback on my colleagues work.

• As a confident public speaker I can speak in what is both a professional and relaxed manner making me able to present my ideas to clients and peers effectively.
